Looking to expand our marketing team, Urban Expositions is seeking a Marketing Manager for our Coffee Fest Trade Show, a part of our Food Division. As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of all marketing strategies across all Coffee Fest events. To be successful in a Marketing Manager role at Urban, the candidate must be motivated to drive the event experience in line with the developed brand guidelines and manage marketing budgets to set objectives.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for:
Developing, managing and executing brand strategies across Coffee Fest events that support the visitor and sales efforts, meet the attendance goals and deliver increases in revenue generated
Execution of marketing of company products and services across brands in exhibitions, conferences and the digital space
Responsible for the propagation, content and maintenance of the event website and all Coffee Fest social media marketing
Directing implementation and management of the marketing strategy - including E-Spotlights, email campaigns, postcards, mailings, discount coupons, events, education, digital marketing, and PR to support sales and attendee growth
Creating fresh, new and exciting printed ad campaigns to advertise each individual trade show we produce that is consistent with the Coffee Fest image and markets to our specific audience (specialty coffee attendees and exhibitors); must be able to successfully liaise with outside vendors
Helping to identify and develop new opportunities to secure industry expertise
Researching, building and managing relationships with outside agencies and partners to support marketing efforts
Coordinating logistics, photography and AV needs for special events and programs
Working on site during the build-up and open period of Coffee Fest events
Interpreting and analyzing marketing data and developing recommended strategies and tactics that are supported by analytics across multi-channel campaigns
In collaboration with the Sales team, creating marketing materials, such as Exhibitor Prospectus & Exhibitor Show Manual
Managing inventory of exhibitor logos to be used on website and in show guide; overseeing the creation, accuracy and delivery of trophy, plate and ribbon templates
Building trust, valuing others, communicating effectively, driving execution, fostering innovation, focusing on delivery to customers, collaborating with others, solving problems creatively and demonstrating high integrity
Hiring, supervising and scheduling temporary support staff and interns
The organization, execution and production of the lecture series
Managing Partner Pavilion solicitation, execution, promotional and onsite needs
Supporting art sales team and gallery marketing efforts through outbound marketing, prospect list management and contract fulfillment
Providing reporting and analysis of the seminars and programs and suggest future improvements and new programs for the following events
What’s Required to Succeed as the Special Projects Manager:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience, prefer experience in the marketing industry with direct experience in event promotion
Experience with a company in a related industry and sector
Experience in design software and digital design is a plus
Strong copy writing skills/editing skills
Planning and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Strong self-starter with exceptional organizational skills
Project and time management skills
Excellent communication both internally and to external customers
