We are expanding our Marketing Team in New York City and are seeking a Senior Web Designer with 4 years’ experience. You should be able to clearly demonstrate your track record and directly apply your past experience to our product. You need to be a self-starter and hungry enough to make an immediate impact on the business. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between design and development within the consumer marketing team. You are equal parts design and development, a true hybrid.
You will work with the VP of Digital Strategy to deliver creative assets that span the full spectrum of consumer marketing channels. The majority of your time will be spent on web and email projects. From conception through development, you will be on the front-line, responsible for driving exceptional outcomes. A strong knowledge base and comfort around development will be essential to your success. The team will look to you for guidance on best practices for web and email projects. From time-to-time you will have the opportunity to work on projects involving brand development, photo or video shoots, print collateral, and exhibition design. As the senior designer on the team, you will be held responsible for the creative output of all design, photo, and video related projects.
Responsibilities:
●Creative Direction - Provide creative direction for all print and digital marketing design projects, photography shoots, and video production
●Website Design and Development - Take the lead on all web design projects and develop the final package leveraging best practices
●Email Design and Development - Take the lead on all email design projects and develop the final package leveraging best practices
●Print Design and Collateral Development - Design lead on all print collateral for the business including brochures, postcards, and business cards
●Branding Development - Ensure clear standards are developed and maintained around for UFT and client branding
●Management of Existing Websites - Manage and update existing websites as and when needed, recommend improvements, and ensure they are functioning properly with maximum uptime
●Exhibit Design - Lead and collaborate on all exhibitions for conferences and ensure specs are followed and printing quality is exceptional
●Design Mentorship - Mentor Junior Graphic Designers and interns to help them advance in their field
●Marketing Website Server Deployment - Take complete ownership over deploying our various marketing properties to our test and production servers
●Advanced Development Requirements - Research and recommend the necessary support to complete web projects that require advanced development and when necessary liaise with our head of technology
●Additional Responsibilities - You may be assigned additional responsibilities from time to time depending on the needs of the Company
