Job Description

Research select and purchase quality products and materials. Negotiate lowest pricing on large projects for all materials.

Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing.

Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.

Update inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels.

Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.

Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions.

Coordinate with construction and maintenance teams, management, and field crews as required.

Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management.

Prepare detailed estimates by calculating complete take-off of scope of work

Prepare final estimate summaries, analyzing each section for scope, pricing and completeness

Qualifications and Skills

Read and understand landscape irrigation and landscape blueprints

Professional and verifiable experience in Landscape Construction/Maintenance industry.

Experience using Plan Swift estimating software
