    Job Description

    We're seeking an experienced, sharp backend Drupal developer to join our team to help develop websites and web apps for mission-focused organizations like museums, universities, nonprofits, and cities.     This position is primarily focused on backend Drupal development. We also welcome candidates that have full-stack experience.

    Our office is located in sunny Los Angeles, CA. This position is available for fully remote, partially remote, or in-office, depending on your preference. If remote, you must be physically present in the US.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work as part of a project team that typically includes a technical project manager, developers, designers, and quality assurance specialist to build responsive websites and web applications.
    • Develop using Drupal 7, 8, and/or 9.
    • Help to plan, design, and create websites using open source web content management systems like Drupal and WordPress.
    • Although we have a primary office in LA, we're also a partially distributed team. If you feel comfortable using tools like Slack, Zoom (web conferencing), and case tracking, you'll fit right in.
    • Write clear, concise documentation and case updates.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3+ years experience with Drupal 7 and 8.
    • 3+ years of experience with PHP and MySQL.
    • 5+ years of web development experience.
    • Experience with Javascript.
    • Experience with Bootstrap, HTML, CSS.
    • Strong experience with Git.
    • Good understanding of mobile-first design.
    • Experience with Gatsby/React or other JavaScript frameworks is a plus.
    • Experience with REST/JSON API development and connectivity is a plus.
    • Bachelor's degree, any field.
    • You've worked successfully as part of a team.
    • If you prefer to work remotely, you must be physically in the US, and you must have experience working remotely.

    COMPENSATION

    We offer a competitive salary (benchmarked using Payscale) which depends on your qualifications, experience, education, and certifications. Our salary package includes:
