Participant Navigator - Career Bridge
The Career Bridge program is designed to help individuals with multiple barriers access education, employment, and economic career pathway opportunities in order to improve their quality of life. The goals of the Career Bridge program are to:
Create an integrated system that prepares individuals to enter the workforce
Increase access to jobs and training needed to attain good-paying jobs that provide a pathway to longer-term careers and economic opportunities
Educate individuals about opportunities in the local labor market and how they fit in today and in the future
Assist individuals to take actionable positive steps forward in their lives and at the same time give back to their community
Under the guidance and direction of the Career Bridge Participant Navigator will be responsible for executing and overseeing the management of Career Bridge participant intake and assessment, case management and the participant support fund as well as participant tracking, and communications.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
2+ year of direct service case management, intake or support experience
2+ year experience in job readiness, employment placement, recruiting, etc.
Proficient with MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Problem-Solver with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Experience working with re-entry and a diverse population
ULMS Total Compensation
