  • Responsibilities

    The Accounting Administrative Assistant position is responsible various tasks including but not limited to data entry, filing, and performing accounting clerical duties to process backlog and organize various accounting records both digitally and physically. This is a part-time temporary position ~ 20 hours per week.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

    High school diploma or equivalent required; Some college preferred

    Ability to read documents written in standard English

    Ability to follow written multi step instructions

    Ability to learn accounting software and programs

    Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

    Ability to work independently, multitask, and set priorities

    Excellent customer service skills

    DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

    Previous accounting experience strongly preferred

    Experience working in a non-profit environment is a plus

    Experience working with ethnic minorities is a plus

    ULMS Total Compensation – Part-Time Employees and Temporary Employees

    PTO accrued at 0.07361 per hour worked
