HR Administrative Assistant
Under the general direction of the Director of Human Resources, the HR Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support within the Human Resources Department. This position works with a great deal of sensitive information and the incumbent must understand and exercise a high level of confidentiality in their work.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
2 years of administrative experience working with sensitive and confidential information
1+ year of HR, recruiting, staffing, job placement or related experience
Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Active knowledge of WA State employment laws and regulations; knowledge of employment laws specifically related to city of Seattle is desired
ULMS Total Compensation
** Most Benefits will take effect on the 1st of the month following a 60-day waiting period
