SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN

We are seeking a Social Media Intern for the Summer 2020. This position provides hands-on public relations and marketing experience and projects may be included in a professional portfolio. The ideal candidate must possess and practice strong written, oral and interpersonal communication and design skills. The candidate who is detail-oriented, self-directed and well-organized and fluent in various social media platforms including but not limited sites to Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube,  This position is a 20-30 hours per week position.  You must live in a short commute of our Oak Forest, IL office.  This is not a work from home opportunity.  Your work will support several business units including an Internet and Telecommunications company providing fixed wireless internet, VoIP services, Data Center co-location services, fiber optic network and marketing for a law firm which is client of our company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with promoting our company and our clients business utilizing social media on   Facebook, LinkedIn  and YouTube.

• Assist the marketing team in the design, execution, management and analysis of our marketing campaigns.

• Researching and writing copy of various web sites.

• Research weekly monthly blog topics and contribute in editing and writing blogs

• Communicate effectively and confidently with others.

• Provide support to our sales team by monitoring social channels for trending news, ideas and content opportunities.

• Conduct analysis of competitors web sites and  social media and presents findings to management of suggested marketing changes.

• Complete of assigned projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be current undergraduate or graduate student pursing a degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications, or a recent graduate.

• Must have excellent writing skills

• Experience working with Social Media is  required.

• Must be high organizational.

• Interest in social media and/or marketing activities.

• You must be a creative energetic individual
