JOB DESCRIPTION
**** Role & Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing machinery, equipment, or structures.
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Address plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, or fixture repairs in kitchen and dining areas.
- Conduct regular checks on HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment for events or functions.
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of premises by performing cleaning duties.
- Conduct repairs and troubleshooting in various areas, including carpentry, painting, and mechanical systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the restaurant, including floors, restrooms, and dining areas.
- Handle inventory and stocking of maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies, and equipment.
- Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests during operating hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to address any maintenance-related concerns.
Required Skills:
- ****Proven experience in maintenance, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and its maintenance.
- Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC systems.
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and a cooperative attitude to work with different teams.
Physical abilities :
- Must be able to lift and carry 60 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time.
- Ability to communicate well and maintain positive interpersonal relations with co-workers.
