    We are a creative, international team with US headquarters in NYC seeking a FP&A Analyst.

    The FP&A Analyst role will provide assistance to the executive team to create forward-looking financial information and financial analysis used to support decision making for the company's overall corporate and business portfolios. The position will have responsibility for real estate underwriting, data research (across business functions such as marketing), forecasting, and inform strategic decision making. This role requires significant interaction with senior level executives within the company. MOST IMPORTANTLY, ANALYSIS CONDUCTED BY THIS PERSON SHOULD TRANSLATE INTO ACTIONABLE BUSINESS INSIGHTS ACROSS URBANSPACE BUSINESS ACTIVITIES, FROM UNDERWRITING TO MARKET DATA. 

    • Create business models and assist in the underwriting of new real estate location, with fully loaded sensitivity analysis, assumptions, etc. based on market conditions and factors
    • Assist in creating investment packages and strategic information for presentation to senior management on cross-functional initiatives (as diverse as marketing and consumer research)
    • Create monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting packages
    • Performance management - develop of key performance indicators, setting of targets, and analysis/reporting
    • Assist in compiling consolidated annual budgets (develop templates, assumptions, analysis and reports), forecasts (templates and set frequency and levels of detail),
    • Create monthly cash flow projections for the consolidated corporate and market portfolio
    • Assist in the development of portfolio level financial models, reports, graphs, metrics and other analysis
    • Prepare actual versus budget variance analysis and identify actionable areas of remediation 
    • Prepare project waterfalls and return forecasts

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5-7 years of work experience in financial analysis, strategy, or corporate finance with at least 2 years in the REAL ESTATE OR RETAIL (IDEALLY THE INTERSECTION OF BOTH)
    • Undergraduate degree required.
    • Advanced Degree, CFA and/or MBA, a plus.
    • Must have strong Excel Modeling skills.
    • Must have strong experience with MS PowerPoint.
    • Highly intelligent with excellent analytical skills, with a larger focus on ability to convert raw data into financial analyses and communicate those analyses to stakeholders very effectively
    • Must have prepared Financial Reporting packages and analyzed operational data.  
    • Ideal candidate is a highly self-motivated person who thrives in a dynamic work environment and demonstrates a flexible and adaptable work style that responds quickly.
    • Takes ownership for decisions and is accountable for actions regardless of the outcome.
    • Superior organizational skills.
    • A mature professional with excellent judgment and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience with accounting systems such as Yardi and database applications.
    • Ideal candidate will have a strong familiarity with capital markets and real estate finance.
