    LOCATION: New York, NY

Urbanspace has 10 active permanent and outdoor NYC projects, including Urbanspace Vanderbilt, 570 Lex, Times Square, MadSqEats, and Broadway Bites featuring best-in-class local F&B vendors.

    Founded in 1972 as Urban Space Management by Eric Reynolds, the company is responsible for some of the top mixed-use visitor destinations in London including Camden Lock, Spitalfields, and many others

    US operations established in 1993 by President Eldon Scott who re-invigorated vendor-based marketplaces and food halls in New York City.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, hyper-organized Executive Assistant to manage our President's scheduling, travels, and special projects. THIS PERSON NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO SHIFT GEARS AS NEEDED AND EA EXPERIENCE IN HOSPITALITY IS A MAJOR PLUS!

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Supports the President in successfully completing his responsibilities.
    • Manages the President's calendar, emails, meeting preparations, and travel planning.
    • Follows-up with materials, presentations, and solutions to the President's emails, calls and meetings. 
    • Builds rapport with the team and key cross-functional stakeholders to serve as a catalyst around inquiries and requests.
    • Keeps minutes of the weekly senior staff meetings and automatically reminds the senior team of open items. 
    • Organizes and keeps minutes of the Board meetings. 
    • Maintains ongoing reports, databases, trackers, files, updates and organizes shared drives/files, etc as needed.
    • Helps maintain the President's social channels. 
    • Completes special projects as needed.

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 5+ years of relevant experience supporting senior level executives in an administrative capacity.
    • A “people” person who is good at disseminating information and is skilled at developing a high level of trust from their coworkers and supervisors.
    • Previous experience in high growth environment, within hospitality, strongly preferred.
    • Strong work ethic, proactive, exhibits positivity, professionalism, confidentiality and good judgement.
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication.
    • Incredibly organized and resourceful; able to juggle and multi-task, with an acute attention to detail and follow through.
    • Advanced presentation skills (Google Docs, Powerpoint). 
    • Passion for supporting creative entrepreneurs, food, new business models, trying, learning, improving, and sharing best practices.
