Job Description

What you'll do:

• Provide urgent, same-day veterinary care for pets with acute illness, injury, or other pressing medical needs
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical and surgical cases
• Help establish workflows, protocols, and scheduling as we grow into expanded urgent care hours
• Build trusted relationships with clients and the Bluffton community
• Collaborate with a supportive, experienced team of veterinarians and technicians

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

• DVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary program
• Active or eligible South Carolina veterinary license
• Prior clinical experience required — this role is best suited for an experienced doctor comfortable managing urgent cases independently
• Openness and enthusiasm for helping build out a new urgent care schedule and workflow
• Strong communication skills and genuine compassion for animals and their owners
• Open to both part-time and full-time candidates
