Job Summary

We are seeking a Urine Specimen Collector to join our team. In this role, you will collect urine samples, tissue, and fluid samples from patients. This is a role that can make a significant impact on people’s lives, helping them identify underlying conditions and stay healthy.

Responsibilities

Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency

Collect patients’ personal information

Determine the correct collection method for each patient

Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process

Use sterilized equipment to collect urine and other samples

Correctly label samples and send them for testing

Qualifications

Previous experience as a urine specimen collector

Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods

Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding fluid samples

Strong computer and data entry skills

Schedule Part time: Tuesday and Thursday 10am-2pm
