    We are seeking a skilled and reliable Used Car Technician to join our service team in Oxnard, CA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing used vehicles to ensure they meet safety, quality, and performance standards before they are offered for sale. This position requires a strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to delivering top-tier automotive service. Responsibilities: • Perform thorough multi-point inspections on incoming used vehicles. • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment. • Conduct repairs and maintenance, including brakes, suspension, engine, transmission, electrical systems, and HVAC. • Prepare used vehicles for resale by ensuring they meet dealership and state safety standards. • Accurately document all work performed and parts used in repair orders. • Collaborate with service advisors and used car managers to prioritize repairs and meet deadlines. • Maintain a clean and organized work area. • Adhere to all safety and environmental guidelines. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training is a plus. • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably with used vehicles. • ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain). • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. • Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Owning basic hand tools, the dealership or shop may provide specialty tools. Compensation: $25 - $35 hourly
