  • Responsibilities

    The human resource specialist handles and provides support for various HR employee programs within the organization, in a timely fashion. The contractor shall provide data entry, document review and processing and all other tasks associated with human resources support services.  

    Human resource function

    1. Build vacancy announcements, review and determine qualification and eligibility requirements of applicants.
    2. Administer recruitment programs
    3. Perform and coordinate jobs analyses
    4. Analyze and classify General Schedule (GS) and Wage Grade (WG) positions. 

    Competencies

    3. Ethical Practice.

    Supervisory Responsibility

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    Work Environment

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    40 hours per week

    Travel

    No travel is expected for this position. This position has the flexibility to be 100% telework.

    Required Education and Experience

    High school diploma or equivalent, with some college or technical school course work and minimum of three years of job-related experience, preferably in a human resource department; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

    Must have current DEU certification.

    Preferred Education and Experience

    Associates Degree

    Additional Eligibility Qualifications

    Knowledge of Monsters Government Solutions Platform.

    Knowledge and experience using the USASTAFFING upgraded system.

    High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.

    Ability to operate most standard office equipment.

    Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.

    Good to excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills.

    Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.

    Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

    Work Authorization/Security Clearance 

    US Citizen able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
