    Position Summary: The Utility Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate submission of utility interconnection applications for residential solar projects. This position is responsible for coordinating with utility companies and internal teams to manage the utility process from application to approval. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strict timelines.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Prepare and submit residential utility interconnection applications in accordance with utility guidelines and timelines.
    Track the status of all submitted applications and follow up regularly with utility providers to ensure timely approvals.
    Review utility feedback and coordinate with internal teams (e.g., design, permitting, and project management) to resolve any corrections or resubmissions.
    Maintain and update utility requirements by region and ensure application packages remain compliant with local utility policies.
    Log recurring utility corrections in a central database to improve first-time submission accuracy.
    Support cross-functional teams with utility-related inquiries or escalations as needed. **

    Required Qualifications:**
    1–2 years of experience in the solar industry preferred.
    Understanding of residential utility interconnection processes is a plus.
    Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
    Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
    High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
