Job Overview: Powersports of Modesto is seeking an energetic and reliable Utility Person to join our team. This important role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of the dealership. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and contributes to creating a clean and welcoming environment for both customers and staff. This position also offers the opportunity to help maintain our inventory, assist with unit reconditioning, and support various dealership operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Facility Maintenance: Ensure the dealership is clean and presentable by maintaining all areas, including restrooms, floors, windows, and common spaces. Regularly pick up trash around the dealership to keep the property looking pristine.

Unit Washing and Reconditioning: Wash new and used units on a weekly basis to maintain their appearance and readiness for display or sale. Perform reconditioning of used units as necessary to ensure they meet dealership standards.

Photography: Take clear, high-quality photos of inventory items in a timely manner to ensure the dealership’s online presence is up-to-date and accurate.

Pickup and Delivery: Assist with the transportation of units, parts, and goods as needed. This may include picking up and delivering units from vendors or to customers, as directed by management.

General Support: Provide assistance in various dealership functions as required by management, contributing to the overall success of the dealership’s operations.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a similar maintenance or utility role is a plus, but not required.

Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization.

Ability to perform physical tasks, including washing and reconditioning vehicles.

Good time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Basic understanding of powersports vehicles (Motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, etc.) is helpful, but not mandatory.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A proactive attitude and willingness to take on new tasks as needed.
