Duties & Responsibilities

• Operations and maintenance include the treatment of ne sewage throughout all of its stages pretreatment : (primary) (secondary) (final).
• Will maintain and monitor all equipment including comminutor, influent tank, aeration tank, clarifier, sand filters, chlorination contact tank, sludge drying beds, sludge pumps, D-chloral tank, etc.
• Compile data and prepare reports on a monthly basis as required.
• Make necessary chemical equipment adjustments as indicated by lab tests and visual observations upon discovery.
• Conduct inventory of tools and equipment daily.
• Perform assigned grounds keeping, general maintenance, painting and carpentry, plumbing work to journeyman standards.
