SOFTWARE ENGINEER IV (C++/LINUX) (100% REMOTE) PRIMARY LOCATION – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a SOFTWARE ENGINEER IV (C++/LINUX) (100% REMOTE) for our premier client in PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA. This is a 9 OF MONTHS CONTRACT position in the TELECOMMUNICATIONS INDUSTRY.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE » MUST HAVES:

• Experience with analysis of logs/downloading logs from devices; able to recognize crash signatures and trace back to issue; Linux experience is required.
• Strong C++ who can pick up things easily.
• Familiarity with Automatic Content Recognition (ACR) and/or Linear Ad Replacement (LAR) would be a big plus, as well as RDK.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES »

• Ensure ability to complete in Smart TV market and meet business deliverables.
• This role will troubleshoot any issues with SmartTV - software stack on televisions/devices; will intake new defects raised by a Jira ticket, triage the issue
• There will be a C++ test during the interview, C++ coding and troubleshooting is required.

SPECIFIC PROJECT STAGE/SYSTEM BEING SUPPORTED: Design, Development, and Integration. KEY DELIVERABLES: Robust software, well tested components.
