ACCOUNTING MANAGER III

PRIMARY LOCATION: Remote Irvine, California

V-Soft Consulting is currently seeking ACCOUNTING MANAGER III premier client in REMOTE IRVINE, CALIFORNIA. This is a CONTRACT POSITION in TELECOMMUNICATION industry.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE »

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (required).
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred .
• Big 4 experience in public accounting preferred.
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in all areas of GAAP, including exposure to revenue recognition and services cost accounting, financial statement analysis, financial processes and internal accounting controls.
• Familiarity with common financial systems and experience in system interaction.
• Experience working in a global organization (preferred) .
• Experience in managing a team of professionals (required) .

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES »

• Ability to work in a team environment and lead special projects.
• Audit experience helpful.
• Effective communication skills expressed through conversation, instructing, written memos, written work instructions and flow charts.
• Strong presentation skills including the ability to successfully represent data and ideas.
• US GAAP knowledge (required).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for internal reporting which satisfies the requirements of client groups.
• Internal reporting
• External reporting
• Usually manages other managers and/or high level individual contributors.
• Sets and directs action plans.
• Understands functional concepts and drives for results.
• Encourages others to consider innovative alternatives and contributes to business strategy.
• At the BU level: Responsible for Inventory management and capital planning, purchasing, and reporting.
• May manage one or more teams of professionals.
