Senior Veteran Coach (SVC) Job Description:
Are you an ambitious, disciplined, and empathetic sales leader? Our Senior Veteran Coaches possess a strong “sales with service” mentality while understanding the importance of leading, motivating, and developing assigned team members- Veteran Coaches. The primary role of the Senior Veteran Coach (SVC) is to serve as a day-to-day client-facing coach/consultant/sales leader to help U.S. military veterans navigate the confusing VA disability claims process. You will be expected to follow our proven education-based process to help your veteran clients get the VA disability benefits they deserve as well as ensure our Veteran Coaches know and are following the process. You will serve as a trusted advisor to U.S. military veterans and Internal teammates by coaching, educating, and mentoring them through the confusing VA disability claim process. Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:
SVC will provide daily VA disability claim coaching/consulting/strategy/sales services for numerous assigned veteran clients; the SVC will act as the sole interface with assigned veteran clients helping them navigate the often-confusing VA claim process.
Manage all aspects of the personnel to oversee the teams’ performance along with (but not limited) Veteran Coach (VC) development, coaching/training, and internal auditing as needed.
Responsible for assessing capacity and resource needs, to ensure adequate resources are available to serve assigned veteran clients
SVC will be expected to make outbound calls each day to veteran clients and provide expert coaching services to the assigned veteran clients regarding medical disabilities/conditions, which will include daily email exchanges, phone calls, text messages, and/or video teleconference education-based coaching sessions with the veteran clients.
SVC must be extremely resourceful and understand potential disability conditions the veteran client(s) may qualify for, to include independent research and company provided educational materials.
SVC will lead and coach the veteran clients with respect to preparing and filing their own claims (or direct them to work with an accredited VSO, claims agent, or attorney), guide them through members-only education-based resources inside the VA Claims Insider Elite portal, and connect them with independent medical professionals (only if deemed appropriate by the veteran client).
SVC will be required to follow the VA Claims Insider “Elite Service Guide” with daily documentation in our technology systems to include meeting/exceeding set metrics to ensure ELITE-level service with his/her assigned veteran clients.
SVC shall provide a combination of 1:1 coaching/consulting services, facilitate group Mastermind discussions over live video, and guide veteran clients through the VACI Elite Membership program resources respective to the veteran’s situation.
SVC shall interact in a timely and professional manner with VA Claims Insider team members, as necessary.
SVC is expected to complete initial training and assessment within 90 day.
SVC shall comply with all applicable state, local, and federal laws to include a company wide compliance program.
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ year of sales and customer service experience (must be comfortable with outbound calls)
Experience finding and proposing new solutions by being incredibly resourceful
Ability to build high-trust personal relationships with Veteran clients and Teammates
Effective task prioritization to ensure executing and delivering results
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, that are effective both inside and outside of the business
Experience working with minimal supervision to multitask and manage daily workload from beginning to end
Experience (or comfortable with) working as part of an all-virtual, cross-functional team and working with all levels up, down, and across organizations
Proficient in utilizing various web-based technologies (Google GSuite, Slack, Zoom, etc) and CRM system to support virtual sales environment (training will be provided)
Preferred Requirements:
BA/BS from an accredited university
Sales management experience
Previous knowledge and experience navigating the VA disability benefits system
Military veteran, disabled veteran, military / veteran spouse is a plus
Previous or current client of VA Claims Insider is a plus

You are provided a very competitive Base Salary with commissions to earn a potential six-figure income. A full benefits package that includes medical, dental, 401K matching (once eligible), unlimited PTO, and paid holidays each year. This is a 100% work-from-home opportunity that provides formal education and training.
