Veteran Coach (VC):The Veteran Coach will become a knowledge expert and provide Elite coaching services for his/her assigned veteran clients concerning the VA disability claims process and relevant VACI materials and resources. The VC will represent the VACI brand and set the example of ELITE level service to ensure that veterans have the best possible experience.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is passionate about VACI’s mission and has excellent interpersonal, communicative, organizational, and analytical skills. This is a full-time position and 40+ hours per week. 100% work-from-home opportunity as we are a virtual company. No travel requirements.

Description:To help us continue our growth at VA Claims Insider (VACI), we’re seeking an experienced Veteran Coach to join our highly skilled team of world-changers. Ideal candidates should be business orientated, have an entrepreneurial spirit, detailed, and provide ELITE customer service. You will be expected to become a knowledge expert and continually be learning more. We’re a startup, so you’ll have autonomy but be expected to manage tasks and responsibilities to meet the department and company goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
VC will provide VA disability claims coaching services for veteran clients; the VC will act as the sole interface with veteran clients.
VC will coach the veteran clients with respect to preparing and filing their own claims (or direct them to work with an accredited VSO, claims agent, or attorney), guide them to members-only (and possibly external free) resources inside the VA Claims Insider Elite membership program, and connect them with the vetted independent medical professionals in Clients network (only if deemed appropriate by the Veteran client).
VC will provide expert coaching services to the assigned veteran clients in regard to medical disabilities/conditions, which will include email exchanges, phone calls, text messages, and/or video teleconference with the veteran clients.
VC should be able to understand potential disabilities/conditions the veteran clients may qualify for, and research in CFR Title 38, Part 4, Schedule for Rating Disabilities and any other online sources, as necessary.
Prepare and set expectations for Veterans seeking any necessary medical evidence / evaluation(s) they may need in order to fully support their claim with the VA. Provide expectation management and adequate follow-up of independent medical examinations for veteran clients.
VC follows the VACI Elite Service Guide and expectations with his/her assigned veteran clients.
VC shall provide 1:1 coaching services, facilitate group Mastermind discussions, and guide VACI clients through the VACI Elite Membership program resources respective to the Veterans situation.
VC shall interact in a timely and professional manner with VACI team members, as necessary.
VC shall comply with all applicable state, local, and federal laws.
Where applicable, VC shall provide Veteran Clients with all appropriate legal disclosures, including marketing affiliation or financial interest disclosures.
Qualifications and Skills:
2+ years of customer service
Experience collaborating and relationship building
Experience prioritizing tasks and delivering results
Experience working with minimal supervision to multitask and manage workload to completion
Experience working as part of a virtual, cross-functional team and working with all levels
Preferred Qualifications:
BA/BS from an accredited university
Previous knowledge and experience with VA
Veteran service a plus
Client of VACI a plus

Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000
Max Salary: $114,000 (includes incentive comps in total)
