    Part Time VA Imaging Opportunities in Syracuse NY

     

    Allmed Staffing seeks imaging professionals for part time federal contracts at the Syracuse VAMedical Center. These roles support Veteran care in a stable Monday to Friday schedule.

    Contract Terms
    • 6 month base contract
    • 6 month extension option
    • Monday to Friday day shifts
    • 20 hours per week
    • About 2 to 3 shifts per week depending on schedule

    Ultrasound Technologist
    Pay: 42 to 46 per hour

     

    Responsibilities
    • Perform abdominal, pelvic, small parts, and vascular studies
    • Complete 8 to 15 cases per day
    • Enter documentation in CPRS
    • Follow VA and ARDMS standards
    • Assist with limited call coverage

     

    Requirements
    • RDMS certification
    • Active unrestricted state license
    • 3 years ultrasound experience
    • Experience with vascular and Doppler studies
    • BLS certification

     

    CT Technologist
    Pay: 44 to 48 per hour

     

    Responsibilities
    • Perform CT abdomen, chest, spine, head, angiography, and contrast studies
    • Follow VA imaging and radiation safety standards
    • Document cases in CPRS and PACS
    • Maintain equipment and complete quality checks
    • Assist with limited after hour or on call coverage

     

    Requirements
    • ARRT certification in Radiography and CT
    • Active unrestricted state license
    • 3 years CT experience
    • Experience with multi slice scanners
    • BLS certification

     

    Nuclear Medicine Technologist
    Pay: 45 per hour

     

    Schedule
    • Monday to Friday
    • 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
    • 20 hours per week

     

    Responsibilities
    • Perform nuclear medicine procedures such as bone scans, cardiac stress tests, GI studies, HIDA scans, and thyroid scans
    • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
    • Document patient cases in CPRS and PACS
    • Follow VA radiation safety and imaging protocols
    • Provide limited on call coverage
    • Deliver patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings

     

    Requirements
    • NMTCB or ARRT RT N certification
    • Active unrestricted state license
    • 3 years nuclear medicine experience
    • Experience in inpatient and outpatient imaging
    • BLS certificate

    All roles support Veteran care in a federal healthcare setting.
