Virginia State Inspector / Automotive Technician

Valid VA State Inspector License REQUIRED

Join Midas Virginia Beach as a licensed Virginia State Inspector & Automotive Technician. We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented professional who takes pride in safety, accuracy, and productivity.

This is not entry-level — a valid Virginia State Inspector License is required.

Compensation & Benefits

$32 – $50 per flag hour based on experience and performance

Responsibilities

Perform Virginia State Safety Inspections in compliance with regulations

Identify mechanical issues and recommend necessary repairs

Communicate inspection results clearly to service writers

Perform repairs as needed (brakes, suspension, steering, etc.)

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements

Valid Virginia State Inspector License (REQUIRED)

Automotive repair experience preferred

Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills

Detail-oriented and safety-focused

Clear communicator and reliable team player
