VA Visionaries is proud to be a part of the United State Government Lifeline community outreach program. We are now hiring customer service representatives to attend community outreach events in the NOVA area. The right candidate will have an energetic personality, a desire to engage in meaningful conversation, the ability to think critically on-their-feet in the moment, and a passion for genuinely helping others.
Our company is composed of dynamic and diverse individuals who are able to work in a fast-paced environment. It is built for team members that are looking to “Wow” customers and exceed their expectations. We work hard, but we have fun, too! We are not looking for order-takers or script-readers – we’re searching for those who can educate people about the Lifeline program and help qualified customers with a free cell phone plan.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engage directly with customers
Ability to problem solve on the spot
Understanding the customers’ needs
Utilize active listening, patience, empathy, and kindness
Assisting with efforts of customer acquisition
Ability to work between individual and team settings
REQUIREMENTS:
Exhibit excellent communication skills (verbal and listening)
Ability to multi-task (ex. maintains customer conversations while utilizing the software program)
Ability to positively perform in a fast-paced environment
Operate with a strong attention to detail
Proficiency in using technology
Ability to adapt with the needs of the company
Maintain customer confidentiality and secure sensitive information
Desire to travel at least 1 or 2 weeks a year for further training
