    Role:

    The Project Engineer will be estimating, scheduling, procurement, contract management, and project closeout for our new project construction. To act as primary interface for the external parties throughout the project. Should be able to build the project from scratch identifying prospective location to building and the final handover of the project to the Operations team.

    Responsibilities:

    Understand the project requirements from the management and detail it for discussions with the parties such as site landlord, construction companies, refrigerator companies, racking companies, etc. for design and layout.

    Identify Project Sites, evaluate the value proposition and risks around the feasibility and success of the project from multiple perspectives like demographics, proximity to the market and geographical risks and advantages.

    Identify the construction companies reviewing the proposals, drawings and presenting the top proposals for consideration.

    Negotiate contracts after doing proper market research and due diligence.

    Prepare Project plans including budget, estimation, scheduling, procurement, insurance contracts, and timely communicate with vendors and the management informed if there are any changes in the plan.

    Overall project planning to include regular meetings with vendors, contractors, subcontractors, plan for field resources and obtaining necessary permits and business licenses if required.

    Act as primary interface and regularly meeting the subcontractors, reviewing the progress of the project, carrying out quality inspections and conducting employee safety meetings.

    Prepare daily, weekly, monthly work in progress reports and keep a track of the project timelines.

    Maintain the records of all documentation such as permits, change orders etc.

    Project closeout including general contract, subcontract lien releases follow up for quality and then handover of the project.

    Process the payments as per achievements of milestone of the project with proper management approvals.

    Any other job that is assigned from time to time.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/ MS Engineering Management /Construction Management.

    Must have an eagle’s eye for detailing.

    Must be open to work in individual capacity.

    Must be open to travel as per the requirement.

    Construction Project management experience.

    Experience in Multi temperature thermal construction is an added advantage.

    Knowledge of HVAC will be an added advantage.

    Well versed in reading engineering drawings, construction laws.

    Must have experience using Project Management tools.
