  • Responsibilities

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)

    • Responsible for maintaining document control in accordance with security and cybersecurity policies and procedures *

    • Responsible for maintaining visitor control records (Campus or restricted areas) including badge check-in and check-out procedures *

    • Responsible for documenting the duplication and/or destruction of sensitive DoD information or hardware *

    • Responsible for entering visitor requests or validating visitors in DISS

    • Responsible for assisting or directing end-user support tasks when needed *

    • Assists with basic analyses to validate established security requirements and may recommend additional security requirements and safeguards *

    • Assists with basic support for testing, investigations, and maintenance of system accreditations *

    • Assists with routine support of program control processes and accreditation of systems *

    • Assists with monitoring network and supporting systems to detect security and cybersecurity events *

    • Assists with troubleshooting network or computer based issues and document findings and results *

    • Assists with validation of documents in eMASS and APMS *

    Required Qualifications

    • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent experience.

    • 0 – 3 years of cybersecurity experience with knowledge of physical security procedures.

    • Excellent written communication, report writing, and presentation skills.

    • Entry level knowledge of cybersecurity tasks including analyzing and reviewing security documentation

    • Excellent attention to detail;

    • Ability to obtain Security+CE within six months of hire

    • Assist with the operation of tactical communication systems including SATCOM/cellular terminals ensuring working capabiltiies as needed by the customer

    • Ability to lift 25 lbs above shoulder level

    • Willingness to travel CONUS up to 20% as needed

    • Ability to obtain and maintain an interim clearance, and full Secret clearance within 6 months of hire; US Citizenship required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Security + CE Certification
    • Secret DoD Clearance
    • Previous IT/Cyber background
