Executive Assistant to CEO
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the President/CEO, the Executive Assistant provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the President. The Executive Assistant serves as a liaison to the Board of Directors and senior management teams; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts; and oversees special projects. The Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The Executive Assistant must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
WHO IS THE CEO: Patrick Bet-David

It has been referred to as “the best channel for entrepreneurs.” Patrick has also hosted a series of one-on-one interviews with some of the world’s most interesting people, including former President George W Bush, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Hart, multiple NBA Hall of Famers James Worthy and Magic Johnson, Author Robert Greene, Billionaire Entrepreneur and NBA team owner Mark Cuban, Indy-500 Winner Al Unser Jr., Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak, author and entrepreneur Robert Kiyosaki, and many others.
He is needing someone with passion and drive to be his executive assistant. This will not be your standard M-F 8-5 job. There will be weekend work and the occasional travel. Patrick is needing someone who can keep up with his ever busy life. He is always on the go and coming up with new ideas. He needs an Executive Assistant who is a Grand Master of his game of chess; always being at least 11 moves ahead.
Essential/Primary Responsibilities: Including but not limited to
Assists the President/CEO with daily administrative duties and completes a broad variety of administrative tasks that include managing an active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries and agendas and compiling documents for meetings.
Manage multiple calendars; set up meetings; coordinate multiple travel schedules
Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls and emails, handling issues appropriately and relaying messages
Plans, coordinates and ensures the CEO's schedule is followed and respected. Provides "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, creating win-win situations for direct access to the CEO's time and office.
Communicates with the general staff on the President/CEO’s behalf and coordinates logistics with high-level meetings both internally and externally. Coordinates meetings and strategic activities
Serves as the President’s administrative liaison to the Board of Directors and manages Board activities, which include coordinating Board meetings and dinners; Board staff lunches/receptions/new Board member orientations; arranging hotel accommodations for out-of-town Board members; processing travel reimbursement requests; and compiling, assembling, and distributing Board meeting materials.
Successfully completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the CEO's ability to effectively lead the company.
Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matter expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
Performs other duties as assigned
Assist with marketing development, social media campaigns
Work with celebrities and a variety of personality types, in a multicultural environment
Qualifications & Experience:
Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
Five to ten years providing support for upper-level management
Skills & Abilities:
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms
Ability to learn new software
Ability to conduct research and present data in a succinct and well-written manner.
Ability to work independently and with professional discretion.
Excellent writing, editing, grammatical, organizational, and research skills.
Ability to work with a broad range of people
Knowledge of other languages and international customs is an asset; knowledge of Spanish is helpful.
Excellent management, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
Strong selling/negotiation skills
