Job Description

• Review Revit and BIM360 file management protocols and procedures to confirm with office standards
• Produce framing, mechanical (HVAC) electrical, and | or plumbing shop drawings for manufacturing of multi-family, hospitality, and light commercial projects
•  Assist senior members of team in training junior shop drawing production team
•  Assist with training of design team members with regards to fabrication and manufacturing standards if needed
•  Generate and maintain team meeting agendas and meeting minutes for general circulation
• Implement design direction for fabrication drawings and sketches under supervision of senior members
•  Assist senior members of team to revise and improve and document construction details
•  Aid in update of BIM manuals, procedures, and Revit template updates at direction of Design Technology Manager, Director of Engineering or other senior team members
•  Update standard office document and template updates where needed under supervision of Assistant Director of Engineering and other senior team members where needed
•  Perform BIM360 folder maintenance as directed by senior team members
•  Produce finish and installation details for shop drawings for manufacturing of multi-family, hospitality, and light commercial projects
• Interface with design and construction teams to ensure faithful and profitable execution of VBC projects
• Support strategies that will help meet the needs of and improve the level of service to internal and external Customers

Qualifications

• Associates degree in technology or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
•  3-6 Years of experience required
•  DfMA familiarity preferred
•  AutoCAD and Revit proficiency required
•  Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required
•  Must have a positive attitude and be able to function as part of a team • Must have good oral and written communication skills
•  Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
•  Must have the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
•  Must have be an independent problem-solver and appreciate a fast-paced work environment
