Title: Cloud Engineer / Architect
Location : Milwaukee, WI
Duration : Contract

Job Description:

Proven solid cloud architecture and best practices skill with cloud IaaS such as AWS, GCP, MS Azure and OpenStack. GCP experience will be preferred
• Work on a designing and developing a modern SaaS application with micro-services architecture
• Experience with both backend and front end development (full stack engineer preferred)
• Fluent programmer preferably in Python, Java and C++
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and micro-services in general
• CI/CD experience (automate build, packaging, test pipelines and deployments with Jenkins, git)
• Ansible, Puppet, Terraform or Chef experience
• System and network security best practices, SDN knowledge a plus
• Deep technical knowledge & extensive security architecture / design experience.
• Experience in security systems, including firewalls, data loss prevention, encryption key management, single sign on, intrusion detection systems and vulnerability scanning tools. Understanding of FIM, NIDS, HIDS, SIEM etc.
• Knowledge of technology methodologies – microservices, service oriented architecture (SOA), software & hardware development practices, operational practices, web services design, database design and data management, etc
• Prior experience solving complex business problems with technology, including aspects unique to securing the cloud (provider / consumer perspective).
• Strong interpersonal and consulting skills to establish and maintain internal and external partnerships globally, negotiating risk against other business factors.
• Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities.
• Outstanding proactive communication skills: written, verbal, presentations.
• Self-driven, analytical, and results oriented with proven sound judgment.
• Agile (SCRUM) experience preferred
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team OR (Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with others on multi-disciplinary projects.)
• Self-disciplined with strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and oral communications OR (The ability to work collaboratively, to communicate technical concepts clearly and accurately)
• Energetic and self-starting
• Genuinely excited about technology, strong interest in learning about and playing with the latest technologies and building compelling applications.
• Knowledge and experience with running customer facing, cloud-based, production software system
