Job Description
We are currently seeking a receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
· Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls
· Greet and welcome arriving guests
· Welcome expected clients and direct them to correct destination
· Address walk-in client needs
· Provide accurate information in person and via phone / email to include printing, emailing, mailing ad-hoc client requests
· Calendar scheduling in Outlook
· Data entry and document management
· Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
· Scan and maintain electronic files
· Perform other administrative duties such as filing / e-faxing
· Order front office and kitchen supplies; maintain inventory
· Responsible for completing miscellaneous office opening and closing tasks (ex. coffee, unlocking doors, computers locked, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS
· Education, high school or equivalent
· Enjoys client interaction and getting to know clients
· Willingness to professionally handle difficult client interactions, as applicable
· High level of comfort with technology
· Intermediate proficiency MS Office Suite
· Ability to adapt as priorities shift
· Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
· Organized in a fast-paced environment
· A can-do, team-oriented approach
· Receptive attitude and personality towards coaching and a strong desire to learn
· Willingness to work overtime as needed
