Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a highly organized and creative videographer to support our Creative Team in a contract position as a creative leader, videographer, and editor. If you're someone who is passionate about educational developemnt  and really good at keeping an overview of an ever-evolving list of things to get done, we'd love to speak with you. 

Major Responsibilities 

• Film and edit promotional material
• Set up lighting and sound equipment
• Operate editing systems and equipment used for video media and effects
• Work with the in-house creative team to establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation
• Edit video to include music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project
• Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to specifications
• Work and collaborate with other videographers across the US to create a cohesive series of videos. 
• Follow a creative brief to shoot and edit a series of promotional videos that will include interviews & B-roll

Skills & Experience: 

• Creative experience in filmmaking and videography
• Documentary style and/or interview experience required
• Confident in ability to light a set and capture sound
• Professional mastery of video and audio editing software and programs
• Experience editing documentary and promotional videos preferred
• Ability to edit other videographers work and lead them in their creative execution when shooting in another city
• Ability to take ownership over various video projects, tracking projects and milestones while providing creative leadership
• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate varied schedules
• Bachelor's degree in film editing or related degree is preferred
• Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
• Able to provide a portfolio and example of previous projects 
• Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions
• Excellent communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project scope and implementation
• Must provide a portfolio with examples of sound, lighting, and editing mastery as well as documentary or interview-style samples.

Compensation Details: 

This is a contract/freelance position paying $75-$150/hr depending on skill level and experience.
