    What We're Looking For: 

    As Social Media Coordinator, you will be the driving force behind a social-first mindset shift and will conceptualize and deliver new campaigns and content that evolve the brand and strengthen and build our community. 

    Key responsibilities: 

    • Develop the strategy for VIDA's social media platforms and craft and implement an editorial calendar to meet our goals. 
    • Grow social media following across all platforms and manage to revenue targets and engagement KPIs.
    • Partner with the design team to execute on your concepts, potentially designing your own content depending on experience. 
    • Engage with the community on all platforms and serve as a conduit between our customers and internal teams (e.g. product, customer support, operations) as needed. 
    • Utilize expertise on social media to facilitate “social first” mindset shift. 
    • Conceptualize and drive new campaign ideas for social media and help extend them to other marketing channels, e.g. paid social, email, PR. 
    • Develop and manage social media reporting process, set and measure goals and use insights to guide strategy and content development.

    Experience: 

    • Strong understanding of social media channels, content development, and social analysis.
    • Wildly creative and willing to put forth new ideas rather than sticking with what's always been done.
    • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust and partnerships across levels
    • Forward-thinking, well-organized and has an obsession for detail.
    • Analytical and eager to dig into the data to better understand our customer and channels.
    • Strong project management skills and ability to multitask with great attention to detail in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
    • Experience with basic photo editing and proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Lightroom. Video animation knowledge is a plus. 
    • Portfolio or examples of social media content from previous employment or personal handles. 
    • College graduate and relevant experience managing social media.

     

    Compensation & Team: 

    Role is for 20 hours per week and hourly rate will be determined based on experience. This position is on the Marketing team and reports to VIDA's Head of Marketing.
