    ABOUT THIS ROLE

    This is a great opportunity to join an exciting startup building out a strong Health Brand with fresh and inspiring design concepts. You can combine this paid internship with your school schedule or, if time allows, you would have the opportunity to turn this into a full-time learning experience. You will get the chance to get coaching and mentorship from our Creative Director and get to work on your own projects as well as assist the Design Team on larger projects such as new product launches, marketing campaigns, and website design.

    As a Design Intern, you will assist the Design team with designing marketing material for our social media and print media. You will be working under the direct supervision of our Creative Director and will have the opportunity to work closely with other members of the marketing and design team to create engaging, on-brand graphics for social media, website assets, collateral, packaging design, etc. You have a solid understanding of both results-driven marketing designs and strong design principles. You must love start-up culture, feel energized by team-oriented environments, and have an all-hands-on-deck attitude.

    We're looking for a recent college graduate with a focus on Creative Design. What we care about most is your design ability, your fascination with branding, your capacity to learn, your willingness to contribute, and your desire to methodically build something meaningful from the ground up.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Be open to learn and jump in where you can
    • Understand project requirements and concepts
    • Assists in producing final design solutions
    • Pitch creative ideas
    • Collaborate with team members and across other teams to launch projects

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 

    • Preferably a soon-to-be graduate of Graphic Design/Fine Arts or related discipline.
    • Link to an online portfolio showcasing your work.
    • Sufficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, G Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Some experience with visual storytelling including graphic design and illustration is a strong pre
    • Some experience with animation and motion graphics is a plus.
    • Professional, self-starter, detail-oriented, and well-organized.

    The internship is flexible in time with a minimum of 16 hours a week for 3 months, and up to 40 hours/ week for a year. The role is partially remote and partially in a co-working space with our Creative Director who is also based in Austin. We are ideally looking for someone who is based in Austin, TX.
