Dental Front Desk Administrator
Job description
We are looking for a Front Desk staff member who will aid in making the dental office more efficient and pleasant for patients. Receptionists should be well-organized with great attention to detail and possess the ability to interact with others (patients, non-patients, and caregivers) in a professional manner. Furthermore, we want candidates with the skills to thrive in a fast paced, multitasking position to ensure interactions and scheduling run smoothly.
Responsibilities
Welcome patients, staff and vendors into the dental office
Checking patients in/out (i.e. verifying all demographic information on file, updating medical records, and ensuring patient are scheduled for all necessary appointments)
Scheduling for multiple providers/offices
Answering phones
Organizing pick up for lab cases
Communication with insurance companies for coverage and benefits
Document scanning and importation of important files
Other daily duties around the office such as the opening and closing procedures
Verifying insurances for upcoming appointments
Skills
Dental Office Experience required
Capable of multitasking
Good computer skills
Ability to learn system procedures
Excellent communication and people skills
Well-organized, professional and reliable
Understanding of HIPPA and privacy policies
Have knowledge of Eaglesoft Software
