    The Villas are unique neighborhoods of assisted living and memory care homes designed to assist with activities of daily living of seniors who live there. www.villasatgreenvalley.com

    For the last 5 years, the Villas’ neighborhoods have been organized around the lives and needs of Seniors. The constant companion is the Caregiver. It is the responsibility of the Caregiver to build relationships with Seniors based on each person’s values, wishes and life story. The Villas are designed to be truly HOME and caregivers carry out their duties based upon the principles of a home.

    The responsibilities of the Caregiver consist of personal care of our Seniors including meaningful engagement, as well as care for the Villa in which they work such as preparing meals and snacks for Seniors, laundry and light housekeeping. The Caregiver’s role at the Villas is as a member of a self-organized work team.

    Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

    Pay: $13.00 to $19.00 p/hour dependent on certification, knowledge, experience, and communication skills.

    Requirements

    • At least 18 years old
    • Has documentation of completion of a caregiver training program that was approved by DHS or NCIA at the time the program was taken and completed by the caregiver
    • Has documentation of education and/or experience in working with residents requiring supervisory, personal, and/or directed level of care
    • Has documentation of current freedom from TB that is dated no more than six months from the date of hire and maintained yearly from that date, if the caregiver is expected or scheduled to have more than eight hours of direct interaction per week with residents
    • Has a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by DPS, or proof of an application for a fingerprint clearance card within 20 working days of employment at this ALF
    • Has valid and current documentation of first aid training and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training certification specific to adults
    • Is able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
