Evening Shift $65 per hour. $1660 Taxed. $940 Stipends

Medical Technologist Responsibilities:

Medical technologist will perform laboratory tests on patient specimens, ensuring accuracy, precision, and timely completion

Analyze test results using appropriate methodologies, instruments, and quality control measures

Report and interpret test findings in a professional and concise manner

Utilize independent judgment to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems or discrepancies

Medical Technologist Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related field from an accredited college or university

Must have a current New York state Education Department Office of Professions Licensure Registration Certificate or be in applied status for Licensure as a Medical Technologist

ASCP Certification or equivalent certification is preferred

Blood bank experience, chemistry, hematology highly preferred

Medical Technologist Skills and Attributes:

Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

Proficient in operating laboratory instruments and equipment

Requirements NY Medical Tech license required. (CLT) Clinical Laboratory Technologist Cannot accept MLT. Soft Lab and Safetrace training is a plus.
