Our client in Ayer MA is hiring a Temp to Hire, Material Handler.

Position is responsible for coordinating daily schedules and administrative tasks with the Warehouse Supervisors

MANAGEMENT SCOPE

The position develops and directs the activities of:

Production: managing records of raw materials, overseeing de-palletizing of production lines, and ensuring proper scanning and storing of products.

Warehouse and Shipping: overseeing and recording loading and unloading activities, monitoring stock rotation, warehouse moves, and general material documentation.

Inter-Company Transfers: ensuring timely and accurate scanning, processing, and documentation of materials transferred between buildings.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

Maintains reliable and consistent attendance record.

Provides a positive example of leadership and serves as a backup to the Warehouse Supervisor when needed.

Collaborates with the Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Supervisor to implement new processes and procedures.

Actively tracks, documents, and supports the achievement of warehousing goals.

Organizes production schedules to plan for product placement in the warehouse.

Ensures proper stock rotation .

Monitors and documents the supply of raw materials to production lines.

Manages and documents the unloading of inbound trucks and verifies quantities with shippers.

Handles documentation and ensures accuracy of product placement and storage.

Processes and signs for incoming paperwork and outbound orders in E21.

Assists and participates in mandatory physical inventory as required.

Verifies and processes transfer-trailer documentation as needed.

Is available for periodic overtime or weekend work as needed.

Helps maintain a neat, clean, and organized warehouse environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalency.

Fluent in English.

Minimum of 1 year in warehousing or logistics administration.

Experience with ERP systems and RF Scanners is a plus.
