We are looking for a Credit Collections Specialist for our Ayer, MA location. This is a 1st shift position Mon-Fri. This is NOT a call center collections type of role. This is working for a manufacturing company, working 90% of the time on the computer and sending emails. This candidate will be expected to work independently once trained.

*They will be doing billing, sending emails, communicating with clients and vendors and making sure deadlines are met.

• Process payments for over 2800 manufacturers, distributors, and retail customers.
• Research deductions related to overage/shortages, damages, rebates, accruals, pricing discrepancies.
• Ensure customer credit limits are within threshold.
• Apply for increases for credit limits and communicate with customers and insurance company regarding inquiries and decisions.
• Pursuing payment on any invoices over 15 days late or delinquent invoices and reporting to the insurance company.

-Must have at least one year in Credit Collections, preferably in a manufacturing setting. -Must be well versed in computers and emailing. -Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. -Must be able to work 40 hours weekly -Must have great written and verbal communication skills in English.
