    Job Description

    We are looking for a Digital Design Electrical Engineer to join our Client’s driven and high performing engineering team. The company is located in Orange County.     JOB SUMMARY: The successful electrical engineering candidate will possess technical ability in the development, design, and test; able to take hardware requirements and perform hardware digital or analog design to meet these requirements.  Duties require application of engineering principles and techniques. This job requires strong analytical and technical abilities and demands fast, but carefully thought-out results. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction; regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making.

     

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    Minimum 6- 8+ years of electronic design experience w/strong digital technical background.

    Experience in generating electrical drawings, schematics, and test procedures

    Experience with Altium for schematic electrical design

    Proven ability and willingness to use analytical tools to analyze and simulate hardware testing methods

    Familiar with Digital, Analog and RF Instrumentation (Oscilloscope, DMM, Counter, Network Analyzer, Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzer, Power Meter)

    Familiarity with HW/SW Integration & Test Process and Procedures

    Basic MS Office skills and basic Visio skills

    US Citizenship required, ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

    Ability to provide trouble shooting, technical support and subject matter expertise to Manufacturing and Depot Operations Technicians and Electrical Mechanical Assemblers

    Ability to exercise sound judgment and apply decision making skills with minimal supervision

    Strong interpersonal communication and technical writing skills

    Some travel required

     

    DESIRED SKILLS:

    Experienced in military systems

    Experienced in meeting military environment requirements

    Experience using Altium for doing PCB layout

    Demonstrated problem solving, organization, coordination, and planning skills

     

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:

    Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM), or related STEM degree program from an Accredited University/School/College with emphasis in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years of engineering experience

     

    COMPENSATION:

    $95,000-$110,000

     

    US citizen required with a possibility of obtaining Security Clearance if needed.
