About the Role
VIVAMEE Hospitality is looking for an HR Generalist to join our corporate team, based on-site at Renault Winery & Resort. This is a newly developed position supporting day-to-day HR needs across VIVAMEE Resorts, with a strong emphasis on Training & Development — this individual will be a key driver behind our company-wide certification program rollout this year. This role also provides recruiting support across the portfolio, working alongside hiring managers and the Corporate Director of People + Culture to fill open positions.

What You'll Do
Training & Development
- Support VIVAMEE's new company certification program rollout across all resort locations
- Design, coordinate, and track training schedules and completion by property
- Develop onboarding training content and materials for consistent use portfolio-wide
- Work the with Corporate Director of P +C to identify training needs at each property and help build tailored solutions
- Track and report on training/certification progress across the portfolio to leadership
- Facilitate or coordinate in-person and virtual training sessions as needed
Recruiting Support
- Support recruiting efforts across VIVAMEE Resorts: posting openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews as needed
- Assist with candidate itineraries for on-site interviews
- Support new hire onboarding scheduling in partnership with hiring managers
- Maintain applicant tracking records and hiring documentation for compliance
- Note: high-volume or property-specific recruiting may be supported by hiring managers/property leadership, with this role providing coordination and oversight
Day-to-Day HR Support
- Serve as a go-to HR contact for employees and managers across VIVAMEE Resorts, handling day-to-day questions and requests
- Support employee relations matters, including guidance on policy, performance, and workplace concerns, working closely with the Corporate Director of People + Culture; all high-level or complex cases (e.g., investigations, terminations, legal risk) are escalated for their review and direction
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR files across all locations
- Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment support portfolio-wide
- Support leave of absence processes (FMLA, ADA, state leave laws) across properties
- Assist with workers' compensation claims reporting and coordination for all locations
- Help ensure consistent compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across every VIVAMEE Resort
- Travel to resort locations as needed to provide on-site HR and training support
General HR Responsibilities
- Assist with HR audits, reporting, and metrics tracking across properties
- Support policy development and employee handbook updates, ensuring consistency portfolio-wide
- Help plan and support employee engagement initiatives and events at various locations
- Take on additional projects and responsibilities as the HR function and portfolio grow
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of HR generalist experience
- Genuine passion for Training, Learning & Development — this is the core focus of the role
- Working knowledge of employment law (FLSA, FMLA, ADA)
- Strong organizational and facilitation skills; comfortable presenting/training groups
- Excellent communication skills and a comfortable, approachable presence across teams and locations
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-property hospitality/resort environment
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between VIVAMEE Resorts as needed
- Experience with HRIS/ATS or LMS (Learning Management System) systems preferred
