    Position Overview

As the Talent Associate, you will be a steward of this mission and work closely with others on VMG’s Talent team, Deal team and executives at our portfolio companies to evolve all recruiting efforts within the portfolio. The position is based out of VMG offices in the serenely beautiful and historic Presidio of San Francisco. 

     

    Scope of Responsibilities 

    • Lead executive searches (full-cycle recruiting) for VMG brands to find and on-board world-class talent
    • Act as a resource to VMG’s portfolio companies in proactively identifying their talent needs and help build their recruiting processes needed to scale
    • Provide thought partnership on organizational design at the Board level
    • Proactively build a bench of best-in-class operators relevant to the VMG portfolio of brands as a long-term solution for the portfolio’s hiring needs and ecosystem building
    • Track the performance and costs of search partners by geography, function, and other relevant information
    • Brainstorm and implement methods to increase touchpoints/engagement with high potential candidates to maintain organic connections

    • Passion for talent acquisition, community building and diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging initiatives
    • Expertise in full-cycle recruiting for senior leadership roles 
    • Track record of successfully managing multiple stakeholders in people-focused initiatives
