Job Title: VMware vSphere Trainer / Instructor Location: Hybrid, - Silverdale, Washington Work authorization: US Citizen
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced VMware vSphere Trainer to deliver high-quality training services to government personnel. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in VMware virtualization technologies and proven experience conducting structured training programs. This role supports a U.S. Department of Defense (Navy) training requirement focused on VMware vSphere.
Key Responsibilities • Deliver instructor-led training on VMware vSphere (installation, configuration, and management). • Develop and/or customize training materials aligned with VMware best practices. • Provide hands-on lab guidance and real-world scenario-based learning. • Assess participant progress and ensure learning objectives are achieved. • Support training logistics and coordinate with stakeholders. • Stay updated with the latest VMware technologies and training methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications • Strong expertise in: o VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter) o Virtualization concepts and infrastructure management • Prior experience delivering technical training or classroom instruction • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
Preferred Qualifications • VMware certifications (highly preferred): o VCP (VMware Certified Professional) o VCAP (preferred) • Experience supporting federal / DoD / government environments • Familiarity with structured training delivery under compliance frameworks
Education • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Additional Requirements • Must be eligible to work on U.S. government contracts • Ability to meet contract timelines and deliverables
