Job Description
As the VP, Deputy General Counsel, you will be a pivotal leader and strategic partner to the executive team, overseeing the legal frameworks for our consumer marketplace and compliance program. This role requires a sophisticated legal expert capable of building proactive compliance systems for product and marketing teams.
The ideal candidate will transform the legal function from a gatekeeper into an accelerator, leveraging legal technology and AI to empower our business teams. You will be the primary legal architect for our consumer facing platform’s compliance, trust and safety protocols, and privacy standards.

Salary Range: $220,000 - $260,000 + 30% Bonus The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives.
