Position Overview

A growing healthcare services organization is seeking a hands-on finance leader to oversee and strengthen its accounting and finance function. This role is ideal for a professional who can balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution, helping build the infrastructure, controls, reporting, and processes needed to support continued growth.

The organization is financially stable and well-established but is looking for a leader who can modernize the finance department, improve visibility into performance, strengthen accountability, and create a scalable foundation for the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the accounting and finance team

• Establish budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

• Improve financial reporting, analytics, and KPI tracking

• Strengthen internal controls, approval workflows, and financial oversight

• Identify operational inefficiencies and opportunities for cost savings

• Partner with leadership on strategic planning and growth initiatives

• Evaluate systems, processes, and technology to improve efficiency

• Assess organizational structure and help optimize onshore and offshore resources

• Ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance with applicable standards

• Support leadership with decision-making through financial modeling and analysis

Qualifications

• Significant experience in accounting, finance, or financial leadership roles

• Experience leading accounting and finance teams

• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis experience

• Track record of improving processes, controls, and operational efficiency

• Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Healthcare, home care, or related industry experience preferred
