    Job Description

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    The Marketing Manager is responsible for optimizing the digital, inbound, and content marketing strategies and helping develop, implement and oversee long-term marketing campaigns as well as short-term advertising techniques. This role requires being adept at enhancing brand awareness, driving traffic to the company’s website and generating sales leads. You will run the day-to-day management of projects and ensure that they are completed successfully and measure the effectiveness of the campaigns.  

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop and execute marketing strategies for existing and new product lines and for brand licensing activities and have proven success in transforming those objectives into concrete marketing plans to ensure objectives are met.
    • Plan and optimize advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail. Must have the ability to be creative and on cutting edge in developing new alternative methods of advertising and promotion. 
    • Manage and maintain the company’s websites and use web analytics tools to monitor site traffic and optimize the user experience
    • Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
    • Measures and reports performance of all marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs)
    • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
    • Identifies critical conversion points and drop off points and optimizes customer funnels
    • Develop strategies that drive customers to the website
    • Create paid campaigns on social media platforms
    • Maintain consistent brand messaging throughout all platforms
    • Identify and leverage the marketing assets available through racing industry
    • Develop and implement product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy
    • Create brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials to assist sales team
    • Oversee and evaluate industry and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
    • Actively participate in sales origination and the sales process
    • Guide preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.
    • Provide support to ensure each product is properly represented at trade shows through booth design, PR, artwork, strategy and staffing.
    • Assist other departments within the organization to prepare promotional materials, manuals and technical publications.
    • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

    JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of management and a variety of sponsors, vendors, and customers
    • Demonstrated in-depth sales and marketing techniques. Effective ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-management, internal and external sponsors, vendors and customers.
    • Audience segmentation and targeting
    • Set up and management of triggered email nurture campaigns using automation platforms
    • Email best practices including subject lines, messaging, list management, deliverability, and CAN-SPAM laws
    • Excellent analytical and project management skills
    • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
    • Highly creative with demonstrable experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and Motivate
    • Proficiency using Salesforce CRM a plus
    • Proficiency using ActiveCampaign a plus
    • Proficiency using Google Analytics (certification preferred)
    • Proficiency with Google Search Network, YouTube and related paid media channels
    • Proficiency with Amazon advertising a plus
    • Proficiency using SEM insights tools such as Semrush
    • Exceptional organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.  
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug test.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher required with minimum of five (5) years managerial experience
    • Certifications in Google Adwords and other digital marketing and social media certifications are preferred but not required.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Must be able to stand up to 8-10 hours per day
    • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.
    • Must be able to drive activation van & trailers

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • Job will generally be performed in an office environment
    • Work in Field / Race Environment
    • Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils
    • Travel necessary
