Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and entrepreneurial Vice President of Sales to lead regional growth for IFS Nexus Black—our premium AI innovation accelerator for leading industrial enterprises.
As VP Sales, you will drive revenue and customer growth across a dedicated region (North America or Europe/APJMEA) by identifying and nurturing high-impact AI innovation opportunities with select strategic customers. This role blends consultative enterprise sales, innovation leadership, and deep engagement with senior stakeholders to deliver transformative, ahead-of-roadmap outcomes that differentiate IFS in the industrial AI market.
You’ll play a vital role in scaling Nexus Black, bringing the agility of a startup and the credibility of a global industrial software leader into every deal. This is a rare opportunity to lead a pioneering go-to-market function in one of the most critical growth areas of IFS.
Key Responsibilities:
**Sales Leadership & Strategy **
Define and own the regional sales strategy for Nexus Black, aligned with IFS’s AI and innovation growth goals.
Build and manage a high-performance regional pipeline focused on strategic customers with bold AI ambitions and strong alignment.
Shape and articulate value propositions for complex, high-impact AI co-creation opportunities.
Partner with IFS executive leadership to influence commercial models and go-to-market structure for this premium-tier innovation motion.
**Customer Engagement & Business Development **
Identify and qualify prospects for Nexus Black engagements, focusing on high-impact, executive-led, and AI-mature organizations.
Act as the face of Nexus Black in regional engagements, building deep trust with C-suite and innovation stakeholders.
Lead deal orchestration from strategic discovery through to contract, often involving complex, non-standard buying processes.
Represent Nexus Black at key events to identify new prospects and inspire use case discussions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work hand-in-hand with the AI Growth Unit, Product, Marketing, and Industry teams to co-develop compelling proposals and co-creation plans.
Translate customer ambition into structured four-phase engagement models (Problem Definition, Proof of Value, Accelerated Development, Digital Continuity).
Ensure seamless handover into delivery while maintaining executive sponsorship and commercial oversight.
What We’re Offering
Qualifications
**Knowledge & Experience **
10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Deep experience selling into industrial verticals (e.g., manufacturing, aerospace, energy, construction, utilities, defense).
Proven track record of closing complex, consultative, and high-value sales engagements.
Experience in AI/ML, innovation consulting, or co-creation business models is highly desirable.
Familiarity with AI use cases such as predictive maintenance, optimization, scheduling, or autonomous operations is a strong advantage.
