We are seeking a high-impact VP of Finance to serve as the right hand to our CFO. This is a high-visibility role designed for a finance leader who thrives on precision, scalability, and strategic storytelling. You will own the core financial engine of the company—from the mechanics of the month-end close to the sophistication of our long-range financial models.

As a foundational leader, you will be responsible for translating complex data into the actionable insights that drive our executive decision-making and long-term growth.

    Core Pillars of the Role

1\. Strategic Financial Modeling & Analysis
    • Corporate Modeling: Build and maintain the "master" three-statement financial model to support long-range planning, capital allocation, and fundraising efforts.

    • Scenario Planning: Develop "what-if" models to evaluate new market entries, product launches, pricing shifts, and M&A opportunities.

    • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly rolling forecasts, providing the CFO with deep-dive variance analysis.

2\. Accounting Excellence & The Close
    • The Close Cycle: Provide executive oversight of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring speed without sacrificing accuracy.

    • Financial Reporting: Direct the preparation of all internal and external financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

    • Controls & Compliance: Maintain a rigorous internal control environment to safeguard assets and ensure "audit-ready" status at all times.

3\. Executive Partnership & Business Intelligence
    • CFO Exposure: Act as the primary deputy to the CFO, preparing board decks, investor reports, and high-level presentations for the executive team.

    • Unit Economics: Build and track departmental KPIs, utilization rates, and margin analysis to ensure the business is scaling efficiently.

    • Modernization: Evaluate and optimize the finance tech stack (ERP, BI tools, and FP&A software) to automate manual reporting and increase data transparency.

    The Ideal Profile

    • Experience: 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership, ideally with experience in both "Big 4" public accounting and high-growth corporate environments.

    • Technical Mastery: Advanced expertise in GAAP, multi-entity accounting, and complex revenue recognition.

    • Modeling Elite: You are an expert-level financial modeler who builds dynamic, clean, and scalable models that others can easily navigate.

    • Direct Impact: Proven track record of working directly with a CFO or CEO to drive organizational change.

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.

    • Systems: Deep familiarity with top-tier ERPs (NetSuite, Sage Intacct) and FP&A tools (Adaptive Insights, Vena, or similar).

  • Compensation
    $205,000 per year
