    Our client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Marketing to lead the marketing efforts for their portfolio of functional nutraceutical ingredients. Based in Los Angeles, this role will spearhead comprehensive marketing initiatives, including high-level strategy development, SEO optimization, social media engagement, and event management. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with deep expertise in the nutraceutical and wellness sectors, passionate about driving brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth through innovative, data-driven campaigns. You will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product development, and executive teams to position them as the go-to partner for branded nutrition solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Marketing Strategy Development: Design and execute a multi-channel marketing roadmap tailored to the branded ingredient business. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and trend forecasting to identify growth opportunities in cognitive health, wellness, and functional nutrition.
    • SEO and Digital Optimization: Oversee SEO strategies to enhance organic visibility for AIDP's websites, product pages, and content hubs. Lead keyword research, on-page optimization, technical audits, and content marketing efforts to drive qualified traffic and improve search rankings for terms related to functional ingredients.
    • Social Media Management: Build and manage a robust social media presence across platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok) to engage B2B audiences, influencers, and end-consumers. Develop content calendars, paid social campaigns, and community-building initiatives to amplify brand storytelling, user-generated content, and thought leadership in brain health and nutrition.
    • Event Planning and Execution: Direct participation in and orchestration of industry events, trade shows, webinars, and experiential activations. Coordinate booth designs, sponsorships, and follow-up strategies to generate leads, foster partnerships, and showcase clinical benefits.
    • Performance Analytics and Reporting: Utilize tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and social listening platforms to measure ROI, track KPIs (e.g., engagement rates, conversion metrics), and refine strategies. Present insights to executive leadership to inform budget allocation and tactical pivots.
    • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and accountability. Partner with sales and R&D to align messaging with product launches and ensure cohesive brand voice across all touchpoints.
    • Budget Management: Oversee marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation across digital, events, and content production to maximize impact and achieve annual targets.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
    • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the nutraceutical, dietary supplement, or CPG industry.
    • Proven track record in developing and executing B2B marketing strategies for branded ingredients or health-focused products.
    • Expertise in SEO best practices, digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Ahrefs), and social media platforms with demonstrated success in driving organic growth and engagement.
    • Strong experience in event management, including virtual and in-person industry conferences.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics and CRM systems Passion for wellness innovation, particularly in cognitive health and functional nutrition.

    Compensation: Base salary $150-$160k plus performance-based incentives.
