Our client is seeking a Senior VP of Operations, The Senior Vice President of Operations is responsible for overseeing all operational functions across Manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Distribution, and Logistics.
This executive leader will drive operational excellence, efficiency, scalability, and profitability across the organization. The SVP partners closely with senior leadership to execute strategic goals, enhance performance, and ensure world-class operational standards.
Manufacturing:
Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations across multiple facilities.
- Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met.
- Implement process improvements to maximize efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Lead capacity planning, resource allocation, and workforce management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety requirements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of leadership experience in large-scale manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, and industrial processes.
- Proven track record in scaling manufacturing operations and improving productivity.
- Experience leading multi-site manufacturing teams.
Lean Manufacturing
Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
- Reduce waste, optimize workflows, and increase throughput across all operational areas.
- Implement standardized processes and best practices to support long-term operational excellence.
- Train and mentor leaders in Lean and CI methodologies.
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt or higher preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to successfully implement CI programs at scale.
Supply Chain
Responsibilities:
- Oversee supply chain strategy, planning, forecasting, and risk management.
- Ensure raw materials and components are available to support production targets.
- Implement systems for demand planning, inventory control, and supplier performance metrics.
- Improve end-to-end visibility across the supply chain.
Requirements:
- Strong background in supply chain planning, S&OP, and materials management.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and enterprise-level supply chain tools.
- Ability to manage complex global supply chains and mitigate operational risk.
Purchasing
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to reduce costs while maintaining quality.
- Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, and long-term supplier partnerships.
- Monitor supplier performance, compliance, and cost optimization.
- Develop purchasing strategies aligned with production and company goals.
Requirements:
- Experience in high-volume procurement and vendor contract negotiation.
- Strong analytical and financial skills to evaluate cost, risk, and ROI.
- Proven ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
Distribution
Responsibilities:
- Oversee warehouse operations, order fulfillment, and distribution processes.
- Improve accuracy, speed, and reliability of order processing and shipping.
- Ensure efficient warehouse layout design, inventory flow, and equipment utilization.
- Implement KPIs for accuracy, productivity, and delivery performance.
Requirements:
- Background in distribution center management and fulfillment operations.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to optimize distribution workflows at scale.
Logistics
Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound and outbound transportation strategy.
- Optimize freight costs, routing, carrier performance, and logistics partners.
- Ensure on-time delivery and efficient movement of goods across locations.
- Develop logistics dashboards and KPIs for operational transparency.
Requirements:
- Experience managing domestic and international logistics operations.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and carrier management.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills for logistics cost control.

Ability to travel up to 20% across North America.
